Our Credit Union started in the early 1940's with a handful of Edson residents who wanted to start their own financial institution. Today, Edson Credit Union is a full-service financial institution offering all financial services available with the latest of technology.
Edson Credit Union is locally owned as all members are shareholders of the Credit Union. As shareholders, our members enjoy the benefits of profit sharing. All profits are either shared with the members or re-invested in their Credit Union.
Edson Credit Union is also locally operated as the members elect the Directors of the Credit Union. The elected Board of Directors are members of the Credit Union representing the members. Our Board of Directors are focused on providing the best possible service at the best price possible.
Directors are responsible for providing direction and oversight, and ensuring that all significant issues affecting the credit union are given careful consideration. Directors have an obligation to act in the best interests of the credit union as a whole, at all times.
